Embark on an unforgettable adventure to the Annapurna Base Camp, where breathtaking mountain scenery and unique cultural experiences await you. Over 14 days, you’ll trek through beautiful forests, cross rivers, and climb to altitudes of up to 4,130 meters to reach the base of the Annapurna range. Along the way, you’ll encounter diverse flora and fauna, including snow leopards, Himalayan thar, and various species of birds and butterflies.
But the Annapurna Base Camp trek isn’t just about the stunning natural scenery. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the city and soaking in its rich cultural and historical landmarks.
we’ll drive to Pokhara, a scenic lakeside town located at the base of the Annapurna mountain range. The drive takes around 6-7 hours, and we’ll make stops along the way to enjoy the beautiful scenery and to have lunch.
Today, we’ll drive to Nayapul, the starting point of our trek. From here, we’ll trek for around 4-5 hours to Tikhedhunga, a small village located on the banks of the Bhurungdi Khola river. Along the way, we’ll cross the Modi Khola river and pass through beautiful forests of oak and rhododendron.
Today’s trek takes us through the picturesque villages of Ulleri and Banthanti, where we’ll have lunch. We’ll continue on to Ghorepani, a charming village located at an altitude of 2,850 meters. Along the way, we’ll enjoy stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges.
We’ll wake up early today to hike up to Poon Hill, one of the best viewpoints in the Annapurna region. From here, we’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the sunrise over the Himalayas, including Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). After the hike, we’ll trek to Tadapani, a small village located in a beautiful forested area.
Today’s trek takes us through the lush forests of rhododendron and bamboo, with occasional glimpses of the Annapurna range. We’ll cross the Kimrong Khola river and climb up to Chhomrong, a Gurung village situated at the base of the Annapurna massif.
We’ll descend down a steep stone staircase to the Chhomrong Khola river and then climb up to Sinuwa. From here, the trail leads through dense forests of bamboo and rhododendron to Dovan, a small village situated in a deep valley.
Today’s trek takes us through a narrow gorge and alongside the Modi Khola river. We’ll pass through the villages of Himalaya and Hinku cave before reaching Deurali, a small settlement located at an altitude of 3,200 meters.
Today is the day we reach our ultimate destination, the Annapurna Base Camp. We’ll trek through a beautiful alpine landscape of snow-capped mountains, glaciers, and moraines. As we approach the base camp, we’ll be surrounded by towering peaks, including Annapurna South, Annapurna I, and Hiunchuli.
We’ll wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the Himalayas before starting our descent back to Dovan. We’ll retrace our steps along the same trail, passing through the villages of Deurali and Himalaya before reaching Dovan.
Today’s trek takes us through beautiful forests of rhododendron and bamboo, with occasional glimpses of the Annapurna range. We’ll cross the Chhomrong Khola river and climb up to Jhinu Danda, a small village known for its natural hot springs. Here, we’ll have a chance to relax and soak in the hot springs, which are believed to have healing properties.
We’ll continue our descent to Nayapul, where we’ll catch a jeep back to Pokhara. On the way back, we’ll stop at a local restaurant for lunch and enjoy the scenic drive through the hills.
Today, we’ll drive back to Kathmandu, where we’ll have some time to explore the city and do some last-minute shopping for souvenirs.
