Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the city and soaking in its rich cultural and historical landmarks.
You’ll start the day with a visit to the historic Pashupatinath Temple. Next, you’ll visit the impressive Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world. In the afternoon, you’ll have free day for last minute shipping in city.
After will do trek briefing and welcome dinner in typical Nepalis restaurant with cultural program.
After an early morning flight to Lukla, you’ll begin your trek by walking downhill towards Phakding. You’ll cross suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River and enjoy views of the surrounding hills.
Today, you’ll trek to Namche Bazaar, a bustling Sherpa town that is the gateway to the Khumbu region. Along the way, you’ll hike through lush forests and cross the Hillary Suspension Bridge over the Dudh Koshi River.
Today is a rest day in Namche Bazaar to help you acclimatize to the high altitude. You can explore the town and visit the local market, which is known for its traditional handicrafts and textiles. You can also hike to the nearby Everest View Hotel for panoramic views of Mount Everest.
The day hike from Namche to Khumjung is a 4.5 kilometre (2.8 miles). It takes around 3-4 hours and involves some uphill and downhill sections, so it’s important to acclimatize properly. The hike passes through traditional Sherpa villages, including Khunde and Khumjung, which are known as the green hidden valley. After lunch in Khumjung, you can visit the Khumjung monastery, where a yeti skull is believed to be housed, making it an intriguing highlight of the hike.
You can also visit the Hillary School, named after Sir Edmund Hillary who helped establish it. Additionally, you’ll get stunning views of Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Kangtega.
Today’s trek takes you to Tengboche, a scenic village that is home to one of the oldest and most famous monasteries in the region. Along the way, you’ll enjoy stunning views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam.
Today, First in the morning you will visit monastery and then you’ll trek back to Namche Bazaar, following the same route you took on the way up. Along the way, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the Dudh Koshi River.
Today, you’ll continue your trek back to Lukla, the starting point of your trek. Along the way, you’ll pass through the villages of Phakding and Chheplung, and enjoy the scenic beauty of the region.
Today, you’ll take a flight back to Kathmandu and spend the rest of the day exploring the city and its cultural and historical landmarks.
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
