This 15-day itinerary offers a comprehensive and unforgettable experience of Nepal, taking you on a journey from the vibrant capital city of Kathmandu to the quiet landscapes of Chitwan National Park and the birthplace of Buddha in Lumbini. The trip begins with a day of sightseeing in Kathmandu, exploring its ancient temples and bustling bazaars, including several UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Pashupatinath Temple,Boudhnath Stupa, Durbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple. These sites are testaments to the rich cultural heritage of Nepal and provide a fascinating insight into the country’s past.
The next day, you’ll embark on an awe-inspiring mountain flight to see Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world. From there, you’ll drive to Bandipur, a picturesque hilltop town known for its traditional architecture and panoramic views of the Himalayas.The tour continues to the adventure capital of Nepal, Pokhara, where you can relax and take in the breathtaking views of the Annapurna mountain range. Take a boat trip across Phewa lake and a scenic walk to the World Peace Stupa, another World Heritage Site, for stunning Himalayan views.
The next three days are spent in Chitwan National Park, where you can immerse yourself in wildlife activities such as elephant safaris and jungle walks. Experience the natural beauty and diversity of the park as you encounter various species of birds, mammals, and reptiles.
On the ninth day, you’ll visit Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, and explore its sacred Maya Devi Temple, the Ashoka Pillar, and many monasteries and stupas. The following day, fly back to Kathmandu and embark on a scenic drive to Namobuddha, a famous Buddhist pilgrimage site located in the hills surrounding the Kathmandu Valley. From there, you can walk or drive to Dhulikhel, a traditional Newari town known for its stunning mountain views and traditional architecture.
Day thirteen takes you to Bhaktapur, another UNESCO World Heritage Site and an ancient city famous for its temples and shrines. Here, you can experience the rich culture and history of Nepal through its architecture, art, and traditions.
The trip concludes with a return to Kathmandu, where you can spend the afternoon at leisure exploring the city’s colorful markets and sampling delicious cuisine before flying back home.
