Detailed Itinerary
- Depart from Kathmandu or Pokhara and drive to Chitwan National Park (around 5 hours)
- Check-in to your hotel and enjoy a traditional welcome drink
- In the afternoon, go on a jungle walk to spot birds and wildlife such as deer, monkeys, and rhinos
- Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay
- Start the day with a canoe ride on the Rapti River, where you can spot crocodiles and various species of birds
- Go on a jungle safari on an elephant back, and encounter one-horned rhinos, deer, and other animals
- Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay
- Visit the Tharu village, a community of indigenous people who have lived in the area for centuries, to learn about their culture and traditions
- In the afternoon, take a jeep safari to explore the core area of the national park and spot more wildlife
- Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay
- Return to Kathmandu by road (around 5 hours)
