Itinerary

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the city and soaking in its rich cultural and historical landmarks.

You’ll start the day with a visit to the historic Pashupatinath Temple. Next, you’ll visit the impressive Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world. In the afternoon, you’ll have free day for last minute shopping in city.

After will do trek briefing and welcome dinner in typical Nepalis restaurant with cultural program. 

After an early morning flight to Lukla, you will begin your trek with a gradual descent towards the Dudh Koshi River. Along the way, you will pass through small villages and cross suspension bridges, taking in the stunning natural scenery of the region. You will stop for lunch at a tea house or lodge, and continue ascent for another few hours until arriving in Phakding.

The trail continues along the Dudh Koshi River and we cross the famous Hillary suspension bridge. We climb up steeply for a few hours and finally reach Namche Bazaar, the main hub of the Khumbu region. Along the way, we might spot some interesting wildlife, such as the Himalayan Monal, a colourful bird with a beautiful plumage. We stop for lunch in Jorsalle, a small village located at the entrance of the Sagarmatha National Park.

Today is a rest day in Namche Bazaar to help you acclimatize to the high altitude. we hike to the nearby Everest View Hotel for panoramic views of Mount Everest. You can explore the town and visit the local market, which is known for its traditional handicrafts and textiles. Namche Bazaar is also a great place to shop for souvenirs and experience the local markets. You can also visit the Sherpa Culture Museum.

We start the day by climbing up to the Syangboche airstrip, which offers breathtaking views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. We then descend to the traditional Sherpa village of Khumjung, where we can visit the famous Khumjung monastery and see the purported scalp of a yeti. We stop for lunch in the village and spend out half day in this beautiful Khumbu valley.

 

Today, we cross the Mong La pass, which offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. We descend into the village of Phortse Thangnak, which is situated on a bank of river overlooking the Dudh Koshi River. We stop for lunch here and then climb up to camp site Phortshe, This beautiful village is surrounded by lush forests and is home to the endangered musk deer and the Himalayan Thar. This village is also know as factory of Sherpa climber.

Today’s trek takes us through some of the most beautiful landscapes of the Khumbu region. We pass by several small villages and climb up towards the Imja valley, which is surrounded by towering peaks. We might spot some interesting wildlife along the way, such as the Himalayan pheasant or the snow leopard. We stop for lunch in the village of Pangboche, which is home to one of the oldest monasteries in the region. After lunch, we continue our trek to Dingboche, a beautiful village situated in a wide open valley.

Today is another rest day to help our bodies acclimatize to the altitude. We can hike up to Nagarjun Hill for stunning views of the surrounding mountains. After the lunch you can explore the village and its traditional way of life. We can also visit the local bakery. 

We will trek to Lobuche, a small village located in the Khumbu Valley. We will begin the day with a gradual climb up to Dughla, where we will stop for lunch. From there, we will continue along the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier until we reach the village of Lobuche.

Today is the day we’ve all been waiting for – we will finally reach Everest Base Camp! The trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep is relatively short but strenuous due to the high altitude. After a quick rest and lunch in Gorak Shep, we will set out to reach our destination. The trail to Everest Base Camp is rugged and rocky, but the reward of reaching the base of the highest mountain in the world is worth the effort. Along the way, we will pass the Khumbu Icefall and see stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Today we will wake up early to trek up from Gorak Shep to Kalapatthar, a famous viewpoint that offers stunning panoramic views of Mount Everest and the surrounding peaks. We will have breakfast while taking in the breathtaking scenery before heading back down to Gorak Shep. From there, we will retrace our steps back to Pheriche, where we will spend the night.

we will trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar. Along the way, we will pass by the famous Buddhist monastery of Tengboche, which is an important religious site for Sherpas and other climbers. Many people stop here to receive a blessing from the monks before continuing their journey.

The Tengboche Monastery is a beautiful and peaceful place that is surrounded by stunning mountain views. The monastery is home to around 60 monks and is considered one of the most important centres of Tibetan Buddhism in the region. We can explore the monastery and its surroundings, take in the breathtaking views of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, and other peaks, and enjoy a well-deserved lunch break.

After lunch, we will continue our trek to Namche Bazaar, passing through lush forests, crossing suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River, and enjoying more breathtaking mountain views. We will reach Namche Bazaar in the late afternoon, where we can rest, enjoy some delicious Sherpa cuisine, and prepare for the final leg of our journey.

Our final day of trekking will take us back to Lukla, where we will celebrate our successful trek with our guides and porters. We can also take a well-deserved hot shower and enjoy some delicious local food.

We will catch an early morning flight back to Kathmandu, where we will have the day to explore the city, shop for souvenirs and relax after our long trek.

Today we will say goodbye to Nepal and head back home with incredible memories of our trek to Everest Base Camp.
