We are thrilled that you have chosen Sundash Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. as your travel partner for your upcoming trip. Before you book your trip with us, we want to draw your attention to our booking terms and conditions. These are important guidelines that govern our relationship with you as a client, and outline our responsibilities as well as yours during the trip. We urge you to read through these terms and conditions carefully, as they represent a binding agreement between you and Sundash Treks. We believe that by understanding these terms and conditions, you can have a smoother and more enjoyable travel experience with us.

Deposit and Payment:

We require a deposit of Minimum 300$ USD, Or up to 10% of the total trip cost while booking. The rest of the amount can be paid on arrival or through online transfer.

When it comes to making payments for your trip, we at Sundash Treks accept credit cards like Visa or Master Card for the remaining amount. It’s important to note that any bank card payments made in Nepal will incur an additional 4% charge by the bank.

Additionally, if you’re making a trip deposit of 10%, please ensure that you transfer the total amount while paying the extra charge that your bank may charge for international transfers. This will ensure a smooth and hassle-free payment process for you.

Cancellation Policy:

Once a trip is booked, Minimum 300$ USD, Or 10% deposit is required. The cancellation policy is as follows:

  • More than 30 days before departure: Full refund less deposit
  • 20-30 days before departure: 50% refund of total deposit
  • 15-20 days before departure: 25% refund of total deposit
  • Within 15 days of departure: No refund

However, we deposit your money for another trip if you would like to change the date or transfer to another person. Please note that we cannot return certain things and have to pay for them, so we add 50% of the total cost of 10% which you paid.

Changes to Bookings:

We are open to allowing our clients to change their trips as they wish. However, changes and rescheduling must be made before 15 days of the trip departure.

Age and Health Restrictions:

There are no age restrictions. If you have any chronic health issues, please let us know before the trek. We give you full responsibility for your trip, and we organize trips under your responsibility.

Liability Policy:

  • We approve incidents for insurance that is responsible for covering losses. The hazards include accidents or sickness without medical facilities, political instability, and the forces of nature. You agree to assume all risks associated with the trip. The company or its employees will not be liable for justification of personal injury, loss or damage to your property, delays, cancellation, or death. We will make sure everything goes well, but you travel at your own risk all the time.
  • We reserve the right to alter, modify, or cancel any itinerary or schedule should conditions warrant such changes. Strikes, trade disputes, fire, breakdowns, epidemics and pandemics, interruption of transport, government or political action, travel bans imposed by governments, acts of war or terrorism, acts or omissions of a third party, we don’t take responsibility and will be under no liability.

Weather-Related Cancellations or Itinerary Changes:

In case of trip cancellation by the company due to Force Majeure, government’s restrictions for safety measures against any under unexpected circumstances of weather, landslide, avalanche, earthquake, or other natural disasters, increased costs due to these circumstances will be your responsibility. we will not be liable for such unforeseen conditions, and we will provide no refund for the unused proportion of the trip.

Other Important Policies and Terms:

  • The good behavior of each member and staff of the company towards each other is essential to avoid problems during the trek or climbing period. A serious behavior problem by the member can lead to the exclusion of the trek or climb without any refund.
  • If one trip has started and because of any circumstances you want to turn back or cancel your trip, the company won’t be responsible for that, and no refund will be made.
  • It is mandatory to have insurance at any cost and situation. The insurance may include cancellation, accidents, health, emergency evacuation, loss, or damage of personal belongings.
  • If you have any complaints, please leave them with your tour guide or in Kathmandu with us or let us know as soon as possible through email. We will reach out to solve the problem.
